Former prime minister Paul Keating says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has screwed in the “last shackle” in the long chain the United States has made to “contain” China.
“We are now part of a containment policy against China,” he said.
“Buying these subs is like Anthony Albanese screwing up the shackle to make sure all the chains are connected.”
