‘A lot of optimism’ for Alice Springs despite intense youth crime wave

People’s Alcohol Action Coalition GP Dr John Boffa says he still has “a lot of optimism” for Alice Springs despite the intense wave of alcohol-fuelled youth crime.

“We’ve seen we can make a big difference,” Mr Boffa told Sky News Australia.

“The median age of death for Aboriginal people in Central Australia has improved more than ten years since 1998.”
